So, this is yet another Brush Set sample from AxeRaider70, who in my opinion makes the best damn Brush Packs ever in existence. Monochrome, or the term monochromatic, generally refers to a single colour, or range of hues, shades or tones of the same colour. Monochromes of neutral colours are more commonly known as Grayscale or even simply Black & White. This is what we'll be creating: a black and white illustration with selective colouring. I have an example photograph that I will be working on, however this effect can be applied to anything. The final image has a dreamy children's book feel to it. In this Adobe Photoshop CS5 tutorial, I'll be showing you how to create a dramatic forest setting with a duplicated, supernatural-looking human in the photo. The woodland landscape effect will appear eerie and creepy after being manipulated from a totally normal forest photo. Creepy no?
